Installing TX inside Phantom

I really didn't like the idea of components attached to the bottom of my quadcopter for my FPV setup, so I got an SMA Extension cable, and installed the transmitter inside the bird. I bought 2 SMA 90 Degree connectors, and worked to attach the SMA cable to the case.

I widened the hole on the leg to the left of the battery. A notch is needed so you don't pinch the receiver antenna.	Hole widened so the SMA connector would fit inside, with a notch for the receiver antenna coax.
Reattach the leg, and put the nut on the SMA connector,but don't pinch the receiver coax.	Attach the first SMA Angle connector, and test conductivity, as if the SMA nut is not tight enough, the center conductor wont make a good connection.
Attach the 2nd 90 Degree connector, and it should be spaced it out enough for the antenna.	A look how I arainged the wiring. Installed: H3-3D anti-interferience board iOSD CAM Port connector Immersion Transmitter

You can see the transmitter on the front side of the copter. The battery goes in fine, and everything looks clean.

Replace the GoPro Ribbon Cable with a Socket Connector

I felt I was having to be extremely cautious with the ribbon cable on my H3-3D Gimble, every time I needed to get to the memory card on the GoPro. After doing some research, I found a connector modification to go through the connector on the back of the GoPro to achieve the save desired function (Power and Video Out). Remove the two screws, and the sticker across the back.  The back plate should come off.

While looking from the back, gently flip the plastic tab up, to remove the ribbon from the socket.

Insert the ribbon from the connector with the blue support tab on the top, make sure the ribbon is seated all the way. Flip the tab down to secure.

Angle the connector into place, and it should snap into the slot. Put the black sticker back on across the back, and re-attach the plate. Now you don't have to worry about tearing off the ribbon cable before your next flight.

The original controller that came with the Phantom is perfectly functional, but I didn't like keeping the paper wrapper on while flying. I was worried about it getting messed up, or in the way. I thought there must be better way to have the same information.

I took off the paper, but I didn't like not having the useful information available to me, especially if I wanted to let someone else fly my Quadcopter. I found a lot of stickers online, but the ones from UAVStickers.com seems to be the best quality, and design. I found these on Amazon.com

Applying stickers

I recommend using a pin/needle of some kind to minimize the oils from your fingers getting on the adhesive, so they will last a very long time. I cleaned the plastic with alcohol wipes first, and let it dry before applying stickers. Bellow is the controller with the stickers attached, and it looks great.
